Revolutionary upstarts from the ranks of supportive orchestral musicians, the Baroque 'cello and bassoon (born as dulcian) became passionate 'male' solo voices expressing a previously unsung heroism. Experience how Bach, Vivaldi and other High Baroque composers opened new territories of expression that Mozart and Beethoven evolved further as tastes changed to the Classical and Romantic.
