Join Pedestrians Who Love Aptos Village !

When Aptos Village was redeveloped, pedestrian improvements to reach it safely were not included. If you walk or cycle to Aptos Village, you know how unsafe it is. To bring attention to this important community issue, the Seacliff Improvement Association is hosting a stroll this Saturday morning, August 3, 2019, to promote pedestrian safety awareness, support Aptos Village merchants and let the Santa Cruz Regional Transportation Commission know it's time to make the route to and from the newly enhanced Aptos Village safe for everyone. When we walk or cycle, we make room for those who must use a car, and hope drivers appreciate this by respecting pedestrians and cyclists who take up much less road space than a vehicle.
