Passing family recipes and cooking techniques from my grandmothers to you!

Buongiorno!

I am delighted to invite you all to cook in my kitchen, in Santa Cruz, and sample the results of your creative efforts!!

We will focus on authentic family dishes from my home, the Piedmont region of Italy. My passion for cooking and my heritage of regional recipes are the perfect starting point to make YOU a happy and accomplished Italian cook, too.

As important today as it was to my Nonnas (grandmothers), the priority for our events is using fresh, local ingredients in our dishes. Menus change with the season of the year.

Before moving to Autumn menus, we will celebrate the close of Summer with a menu that focuses on the sumptuous green of the zucchini, and introduces Fall with a Pumpkin-based Tiramisù.

Antipasti
Insalata di Riso (Rice and Vegetables Salad)
Involtini di Peperoni alla Piemontese (Rolled Stuffed Bell Peppers)

Minestra di Zucchine (Zucchini Soup)

Secondi
Polpettine di mia Nonna (Meatballs made with my Grandmother Recipe)
Frittatine di Zucchine (Zucchini Mini-Frittatas)

Dolci
Tiramisù di Zucca Regina ("Punkin" Tiramisù as I first made for Regina)

Recent attendees continue to make the events ever-changing and increasingly interesting. "Grazie" to all of you! It's my pleasure to cook with you.

Great food and great wine bring together family, friends, and lovers. After all, sharing good things and making great memories is what life is about!
