Sergio's Love Bites Italian Cooking Experience, September 7

Passing family recipes and cooking techniques from my Italian grandmothers to you!

Buongiorno!

I'm Sergio! I invite you all to cook in my kitchen in Santa Cruz and sample the results of your creative efforts!!

We will focus on authentic family dishes from my home, the Piedmont region of Italy. My passion for cooking and my heritage of regional recipes are the perfect starting point to make YOU a happy and accomplished Italian cook, too.

As important today as it was to my Nonnas (grandmothers), the priority for our events is using fresh, local ingredients in our dishes. The menu for the upcoming September 7th and 8th events is:

Antipasti
Insalata di Mare (Seafood Salad)
Peperoni sott'Olio (Roasted Bell Peppers Marinated in Olive Oil)

Primi
Gnocchi alla Cenere (Gnocchi with Blue Cheese and Black Olives)

Secondi
Pollo al Vino Bianco (Chicken with White Wine)
Fagiolini e Pomodori (Sauté String Beans with Fresh Tomatoes)

Dolci
Panna Cotta ai Petali di Rosa (Panna Cotta with Rose Petals)

Great food and great wine bring together family, friends, and lovers. After all, sharing good things and making great memories is what life is about!

You can also book a class for small groups to celebrate your special occasion--a much more active way to mark your celebration!
