Stargazing at Pigeon Point

Join a State Park Interpreter after dark to explore the night sky and learn about the history of Pigeon Point Light Station. Telescopes will be provided by the Santa Cruz Astronomy Club, and topics include astronomy, light pollution, maritime navigation, lighthouse functions, and nocturnal animals. Spend an evening gazing at the stars while learning about local life on Earth. Bring water, snacks, and warm clothes. Meet in the picnic area. Free event. For more information, call (650) 879-2120.
