Young lovers, bent on outwitting their tyrannical fathers and guardian, find their plans repeatedly overturned by a well-intentioned young man who can not stay out of everyone's business. One of the most popular comedies of the early 17th century, "The Busy Body" explores the legalities of what constitutes a marriage.
