About The Human Race Walkathon and Fun Run

The torch has been passed and 135 Human Race Teams have hit the pavement ready to reach their goal. You can be a champion for your community and help them Go for the Gold.

Choose your favorite cause, raise funds, then join the fun at the Human Race Walkathon and Fun Run, on Saturday May 7th where nearly 2000 individuals will converge along West Cliff Drive in Santa Cruz to celebrate community.

Race day includes a five-mile walk and fun run, complimentary breakfast, music along the course, a costume contest, a BBQ lunch and festivities at the family friendly post race Olympic Village.

Can’t make it to the race? You can still step up for the causes you care about by making a donation. Every participating non-profit, school, or community group has a cause that matters. We know you will find a team that inspires you.

The 2016 Human Race is brought you by the Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County in partnership with Community Foundation Santa Cruz County.
