Greetings Foodies & Wine Lovers:

Join me for a delightful afternoon enjoying the beautiful art of Vegan French Baking & Wine Pairing at the gorgeous Farm Discovery at Live Earth, nestled in the beautiful foothills of Central Coast. We'll be going on a delicious journey to Provence, France through our culinary adventures together!

In this delicious hands-on vegan baking class (dairy & egg-free, but not gluten/nut-free), you'll make:

1. A Sweet Chocolate Pear Tart w/ Organic Culinary Lavender & Crushed Pistachios

2. A Savory Summer Vegetables Tart w/ Herbes de Provence

3. A Sweet Plum Almond Orange Galette w/ Organic Culinary Lavender

4. A Savory Heirloom Cherry Tomato Galette w/ Basil-Lemon-Pistachio Pesto

5. A Fennel, Orange & Radish Salad with a delightful citrus-herb dressing composed of extra virgin olive oil, Meyer lemon, orange juice & rind and fresh herbs.

You’ll enjoy your artisanal culinary creations with McBride Sisters’ delicious wine, the Truvee Red Blend Central Coast 2013 and organic French dark roast coffee.

About Truvee Red Blend Central Coast 2013 - Elegant and refined the red blend is evocative of Cotes du Rhone Village style. Dark fruit and spice unfold into layers of cocoa, blackberry, cherry, rose, plum and spice.

About Farm Discovery at Live Earth - Farm Discovery at Live Earth is a nonprofit organization working in (south) Santa Cruz County to empower youth and families to build and sustain healthy food, farming, social and natural systems. Live Earth Farm, is a 150 acre patchwork of working organic farm, riparian corridor, oak and redwood forest in Central Coast, California.

All students in this class will enjoy a delightful tour of the Farm Discovery at Live Earth’s beautiful organic garden before the start of the class. They’ll also enjoy purchasing fresh organic produce such as berries, summer veggies, herbs and flowers available for sale in the class.

Class runs for 4 hours and is limited to 10 students to ensure the most spectacular experience for all. Since, space is limited, early registration is highly encouraged.

Class fee is $175.00 and includes a bottle of the Truvee Red Blend Central Coast 2013 and a small bag of organic culinary lavender.

Plus, all registered students of this class will receive a one-time 10% discount offer on all baking and other items available in the Toque Blanche store in downtown Santa Cruz and on their website. Discount code will be provided in the class.

I will provide an apron for each student, a delightful lavender Meyer lemon tea plus light refreshments before the start of class. It’s an experience you’ll savor from beginning to end.
