26 banners unite the artwork of Latino artists with writings by local Watsonville teens in the Young Writers Program. The writings are from narratives on life by local high school students inspired by the artwork of Museo Eduardo Carrillo & Pajaro Valley Arts’ Hablamos Juntos Art Series.
After viewing the artwork on September 16th, come join in on the celebration at the PVA Gallery, 37 Sudden Street. Reception is from 6-7pm. The gallery will be open all day from 11-7pm.
The artwork is selected from the Hablamos Juntos, Together We Speak, Contemporary Latino Art Series, and brings Latino art to youth and to the community. * (more info below)
The project is Co-Sponsored by the City of Watsonville, Pajaro Valley Arts, Museo Eduardo Carrillo and Young Writers Program. We thank the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz County, Pajaro Valley Unified School District, Arts Council Santa Cruz County and the City of Santa Cruz for their support.
