WFF Presents: She's Beautiful When She's Angry

Celebrate International Women's Day!
SHE’S BEAUTIFUL WHEN SHE’S ANGRY resurrects the buried history of the courageous & outrageous women who founded the modern Feminist Movement from 1966 to 1971. The documentary takes us from the founding of NOW, to the emergence of more radical factions of women’s liberation. Artfully combining dramatizations, performance and archival imagery, the film recounts the stories of women who fought for their own equality, and in the process created a world-wide revolution.

Community conversation on local women's history, led by special guests after the film. Free screening, donations accepted.

This is the first film in the "Women by Women" Film Series presented by the Watsonville Film Festival. The series takes place the second Thursday of each month, March - June.
