Yacht MAIDEN Free Public Tour Monterey Harbor

The Sailing Yacht featured in the recent documentary, "MAIDEN" will be in Monterey Harbor at the Californian Dock, alongside Fisherman's Wharf, October 10-12.

The original all-female crew broke barriers for women in the sport of sailing by competing in one of the toughest around the world yacht races, in 1989-1990. Now, the boat, in the name of the charity foundation started by founding skipper, Tracy Edwards, has embarked on a world tour to raise money for various organizations supporting the education and empowerment of women, worldwide.

Free public tours are available Friday, October 11 from 11 am -3 pm.

Then, from 5:30-8:30 pm, join the Maiden crew for a Meet and Greet at the London Bridge Pub, in the "East" room, across from the entrance to MPYC, at the base of Wharf Two. This event is $20 and will include hors d' oeuvres and a presentation. Reservations encouraged.
