YARR Rapid Response Open House/Training

Come learn how to get involved in the rapid response team! The organizers of YARR (Your Allied Rapid Response)* invite you to an afternoon of community building and learning. This event aims to expand a network of people who are preparing to protect each other, create an easy way to plug in to working groups, and provide a basic legal training for those stepping into the role of rapid responders.

After a brief introduction to the mission and founding of YARR and time to connect with one another, there will be a two hour Migra Watch training led by lawyers from the Immigrant Liberation Movement (ILM)**. Participants will learn how to document and monitor ICE officials during raids and other immigration enforcement actions.

We welcome your input, skills, and knowledge. Your contribution of any size is welcomed! Roles include everything from legal support to outreach to tech help to direct actions and fundraising.

This event is free and open to the public. Childcare will be provided. Spanish translation by headset will also be provided during the event.
