About Youth Symphony Spring Concert
Highlights of the Santa Cruz County Youth Symphony’s Spring Concert include 16-year-old Eli Gilbert performing Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A major and the Santa Cruz premiere of Aurora Australis for Didgeridoo and Orchestra, by Ron Miller. Founded in 1966, the Youth Symphony aims to cultivate a love of classical music in young people throughout Santa Cruz County. Children will be inspired to see kids their age performing at such a high level. Music Director: Nathaniel Berman. Homemade cookies and cakes for sale at intermission.
