About 2017 Human Race Walkathon and Fun Run

Golden sparkles are flying as more than 130 teams hit the pavement ready to reach their fundraising goal for the 2017 Human Race. Between now and May 13th teams will collectively step out to ask the community for contributions to sustain the causes they champion.

You can show your support by choosing your favorite cause, raising funds, then joining us at the Human Race Walkathon and Fun Run, Saturday May 13th where nearly 2000 individuals will converge along West Cliff Drive in Santa Cruz to celebrate community.

Race day includes a five-mile walk and fun run, complimentary breakfast, music along the course, a costume contest, a BBQ lunch and festivities at the family friendly post race fairytale themed village.

Race Day Registration kicks off at 8AM and the race will begin at 9AM.

Can’t make it to the race? You can still grant a wish for the cause you care about by making a donation. With over 130 deserving non-profits, schools, and community groups to choose from we know you will find a team that inspires you.

The 2017 Human Race is brought you by the Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County in partnership with Community Foundation Santa Cruz County.
