Picnic in the Park: Unexpected Connections

What did the industrial cities of the Eastern Seaboard and the Kingdom of Hawai’i have in common 200 years ago? Vital imports from Alta California, for one. Bring your bag lunch and join us as we connect the dots across space and time and turn up some links that may surprise you. Rain or shine, the gorgeous grounds of our future state historic park will provide a suitable site for a side of stories with your lunch.

Free admission (donations gratefully accepted). Limited parking (carpooling encouraged). This park is an active construction site, and is open only during scheduled events.
