Big Food Truck & Brew Challenge
About Big Food Truck & Brew Challenge
This is the first time in Santa Cruz County a festival combines food trucks, breweries, and artisans and music, where the attendees will vote for their favorite food truck and brew.
The venue, Roaring Camp is a historic tourist attraction, in a park-like setting with large oak and sycamore trees providing shade. Roaring camp is adjacent to Henry Cowell Cowell Redwoods State park and is just a short 10-minute drive from downtown Santa Cruz. Many festivals are held each year at this location, and this festival is sure to draw the crowds. There will be no admission fee for attendees, and convenient on-site parking is available at $10 per car.
This event teams Brothers Promotions with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Santa Cruz County to bring a fun filled event that will be heavily advertised throughout Santa Cruz County. A portion of the proceeds will go to support BBBS. For more information about this wonderful organization, please visit: https://www.santacruzmentor.org/

Entertainment:
Singing Wood Marimba - https://www.facebook.com/singingwoodmarimba
Singing Wood Marimba hails from Santa Cruz. We play high-energy dance music and polyrhythmic trance music inspired by the Shona people of from Zimbabwe; our styles range from contemporary to traditional.
Cement Ship - https://www.facebook.com/CementShip/
Cement Ship was launched on January 1st, 2017, in Santa Cruz California by singer/songwriter Tim Brady, just three weeks before the SS Palo Alto (the band’s namesake) was torn apart by heavy storm waves.
The music is inspired by the sea and it’s dynamic nature. The acoustic guitar style and singing tone from Tim can fit a wide array of genres, but maintains a natural and stripped down approach for the sound. Honest and raw, sweet and smoky. It has been described as ‘americana soul’ and ‘beach folk’. Cement Ship has played in several states across the U.S. including various festivals, toured the U.K., been featured on local news, and is the winner of the 2019 ‘Band of the Year’ in their hometown.
Sasha's Money - https://www.facebook.com/SashasMoney/
Sasha’s Money is a hot, new covers band from Santa Cruz, CA. The band formed in 2015 with Michelle (Sasha) Kraft (lead vocals, percussion), Mike Kelly (bass, lead vocals), Bill McBride (guitar), and Randy Solomon (drums) and started playing an eclectic mix of great dance songs ranging across several decades (from The Police and Sublime to Elle King and No Doubt.) The band was joined by legendary local guitarist, Johnny McCullough, in 2016 and immediately solidified the band with his multi-band experience from the early 80’s (The Batteries) through the turn of the century (The Spell, Roomshakers.) In October 2016, Sasha’s Money had the honor of opening for James Durbin at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz. Inspired by the music of Amy Winehouse, The Pretenders, and Blondie, Sasha’s Money will get everyone out to the dance floor and leave wanting more.
