Capitola's 1st Food Truck Friday!

The City of Capitola Recreation Department is very excited to announce their first ever Food Truck Friday at Monterey Avenue Park!

Bring the whole family for an afternoon of food, beer and live music from 4:30-7:30pm.

They are partnering with Food Trucks A Go Go to bring a variety of delicious food options.

- Holopono
- G's Tacos
- Aunt Lali's Desserts

The Capitola Junior Guards Team Tola Parents Club will be selling beer and wine to help raise money for the Capitola Junior Guards. The Parents Club is a non-profit organization founded in 1982 by a former group of Capitola Lifeguards and parents of Junior Lifeguards. The mission of the CJLPC is to assist the City of Capitola to preserve, complement, and enhance the Capitola Junior Lifeguard Program through fundraising, college scholarships, JG program scholarships, public program awareness as well as event and equipment support.

There will be live music by Kuzanga Marimba, who entertains crowds with their high-energy & upbeat music. Dancing is encouraged!

This is a BYOS (bring your own seating) event. Set up your lawn chairs and blankets across the green grass!

Parking: Capitola Recreation would like to minimize the impact on street parking. They ask that you please follow the "parking" signs and park in the New Brighton Middle School and St. Josephs Catholic Church lots. Walking and biking in encouraged!

Monterey Avenue Park is located directly next to New Brighton Middle School on Monterey Ave. Capitola.

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash.
