Meet the Need – Help Someone Read

Volunteer with the Literacy Program

What: Our students want to learn English ? to get a better job, to talk with their children's teachers, to be able to navigate the health care system.

Who: Volunteer tutors are trained and matched with an adult student who has a strong desire to learn English.

Where: You can tutor at your student’s home, a library, or other community location. No teaching or foreign language experience needed.

Why: Tutoring is fun and rewarding, and requires only a few hours a week.
