Spare Change Music Festival (Free Music in the Park)

Project: Pollinate and Cypher Sessions present The Spare Change Music Festival in San Lorenzo Park on May 7, 2017!

The Spare Change Music Festival is a free, all day music festival emphasizing the real change that can happen when people work together and pool their resources. This free, all ages, family friendly community event will feature a compilation of unbelievable musicians, artists and nonprofits all dedicated to educating the community about the realities of the issues facing our communities and environment while providing ideas and solutions. In addition to the educational aspect of the event, the primary goal is to raise money for our featured nonprofits that are addressing these issues around the community and the state by encouraging people to donate their “spare change” they they either come with, or that is generated through their purchases from the vendors exhibiting at the event.

With a heavy emphasis on education, we will be providing a safe space for communication and learning. With guest speakers throughout the event, interactive demos and conscious, inspirational, uplifting music and a range of genres from reggae, blues, jazz, bluegrass and hip hop this event is great for everyone of every age.

The event will run from 11:00am until 7:00pm.
