Spotlight On The Symphony: Brass Over Bridges

Brass Over Bridges is a Brass Quintet comprised of performers and educators. Two of its members - Matt Ebisuzaki (trumpet) and Esther Armendariz (trombone) - are principal players with the Santa Cruz Symphony. The other members of the ensemble - Margarite Waddell (horn), Ari Micich (trumpet), and Lucas Jensen (trombone) - have also performed with the Santa Cruz Symphony.

In honor of Veteran's Day, this recital will feature American composers such as Aaron Copland, George Gershwin, Samuel Barber, Michael Tilson Thomas, and others. This is a great opportunity to experience the wide range of sounds and styles possible with brass instruments.
