About Surf City AIDS Ride

A charity bike ride that benefits the Santa Cruz AIDS Project. Participants have the option to ride 12, 30, 65 or 100 miles. The cost is $85 for the 100 mile or 65 mile routes, $50 for the 30 mile route, and $25 for the 12 mile route. Riders who fundraise at least $300 receive a limited edition T-shirt and riders who fundraiser at least $500 receive a limited edition jersey.

The ride begins at the Santa Cruz County Courthouse, 701 Ocean St., by San Lorenzo Park. On the morning of the race, registration opens at 6:30am. The route opens at 7:00am for the 100 mile, 8:00am for the 60 mile, and 9:00am for both the 30 and 12 mile routes. Riders can look forward to a fully supported event with SAG vehicles and MOTO-safety. The 65 and 100 mile routes offer a catered lunch stop; all routes will have a variety of themed refreshment and rest stops along the way.
