Take the Lead - HR Business Leader Series (FREE)
About Take the Lead - HR Business Leader Series (FREE)
Qualifies for 1.5 SHRM Professional Development Credits (PDC's) / HRCI Recertification Credits
SUMMARY
Despite the presence of strategic plans and organization charts, organizations are operating inefficiently because of outdated decision-making practices. It's not about making "better" decisions, it's about determining who gets to make the decisions and the process used to get there. The greatest source of innovation exists in your people. The challenge is to tap into that source of innovation. Take the lead role by working with your organizational leaders to re-design how decisions get made.
You'll leave this session ready to address power, bias and decision-making with confidence rather than confusion, fear or shame, and learn the conditions and processes necessary to build a team of effective decision-making leaders.
Specifically you'll leave able to:
* Explain how key factors (fear, trust, transparency, bias) impact your ability to establish clarity in internal decision-making processes and dynamics
* Engage in courageous conversations about power and decision-making
* Use a systemic decision-making framework to foster greater communication and focus
* Clearly advocate for decision-making power and create space for others to advocate
* Articulate a process to better support the growth of your team(s) as a collective unit
