About The Alzheimer's Association presents: Music and Memories

Music is a powerful means to move us in ways other tools cannot do - even for those at all stages of dementia. Wayne Lavengood is a local musician who will demonstrate with his accordion how music can stimulate memories, create moods and offer activities requiring little cognitive ability. He will play songs recognizable to all. This will be appreciated and appropriate for all, not just those with cognitive difficulties.

RSVP is required, contact the Santa Cruz office at 1.800.272.3900 or email [email protected]
No charge, however donations are appreciated.
Appropriate Audience: Persons concerned about early memory loss and others
