The Blasters + Jesse Dayton

The Blasters are vocalist-guitarist Phil Alvin, drummer Bill Bateman, bassist John Bazz, and guitarist Keith Wyatt. Blasters shows have been described as “a cross between Creedence and the Clash,” with a display of passion and energy only deepened by decades of experience. For all of the ways in which the world has changed in the past few decades, one thing is still guaranteed: the Blasters play American Music.

Jesse Dayton is a true renaissance man. After getting his start in zydeco bands at the age of 15, he went on to perform as a guitarist for artists including Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Ryan Bingham, Duff McKagen (Guns N’ Roses) and seminal L.A. punk band X. He’s toured with Social Distortion, The Supersuckers and John Doe, written soundtracks for three Rob Zombie films, wrote/directed his own film and just signed a publishing deal to write a memoir. He is an intelligent, socially-conscious and unstoppable creative force who has had more than 50 songs licensed to film/television, released 11 studio albums and one EP, and continues to tour nearly 250 days a year. He is touring in support of the August 9 release of his new album "Mixtape Volume 1" via Blue Elan Records, which was recently featured in Rolling Stone Country.
