Trail Vision Awards
About Trail Vision Awards
Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz (MBOSC) is proud to partner with Bicycle Trip Santa Cruz and Capitola, Light & Motion Bike Lights, and Fort Point Beer Company, to present the first ever photo and video contest focused on Santa Cruz County trails. We live in a place with countless videographers, photographers, and photogenic trails, not to mention an amazing community of trail users including mountain bikers, hikers, horseback riders, trail runners, mushroom foragers, and more. The Trail Vision Awards will celebrate this creative and talented community while highlighting our beautiful trails.

Content submissions will be accepted through October 18, and a public screening will be held at the Rio Theater on November 1st. Tickets to the screening are only $15 and include entry into a raffle for amazing prizes. Tickets go on sale September 1st, and since this event is held as a benefit for MBOSC, all proceeds will go directly back to Santa Cruz County trails.
With categories focused on both bike and non-bike content, this contest is intended to celebrate all trail users. We have a prestigious jury who will decide the Best Overall Bike Photo/Video and Best Overall Non-bike Photo/Video, and then our audience at the screening will get to vote for the People's Choice Photo/Video. The top-three category winners will take home incredible prizes.
We are excited to see the amazing photos and videos that are submitted, and we can't wait to share them all with you at the Trail Vision Awards screening in November.
