LUNAFEST: Films by, for and about Women

LUNAFEST is a traveling film festival of award-winning short films by, for and about women. This season, our program of nine short films filled with stories of reflection, hope and humor will travel to over 150 cities and screen in front of 25,000 people. Each year, various organizations bring LUNAFEST to their communities and raise funds for their local non-profits as well as Chicken & Egg Pictures

Benefitting WomenCARE locally. Since 1992, WomenCARE of Santa Cruz County offers support to women diagnosed with any type of cancer and to their family and friends. Our Watsonville program – Entre Nosotras (Between Us) – provides culturally appropriate services for Spanish speaking clients. In addition to the film screening at 7 pm. We will have a cohost reception from 6 - 7 pm with beer, wine and light appetizers. All proceeds benefit WomenCARE
