Fabulous Friends Indeed….Dan Frechette, Gary ‘Sweetpea’ Cunningham, Tom Leitzke, Rachel Goodman and Laurie Patton join Andy Fuhrman for an evening of Brooklynbilly music – a mix of Originals, Folk, Classic Country, Rockabilly, Oldies and a taste of Brooklyn street corner doo-wop tunes.

Andy began singing acapella doo-wop in 1962 in the 6 th grade with his singing pals Louie and Pablo on the Brooklyn street corners, hallways, bathrooms, anyplace they could find an echo. Across the long journey, music has been his ever-present wingman. Music of the 60’s, Woodstock, arriving in Santa Cruz in 1971 and latching on to Classic & Outlaw Country, Rockabilly tunes and the KFAT sound has been Andy’s sweet spot, apparent in his live performances and his weekly Brooklynbilly Music Mashup radio show on KSQD 90.7FM.

Andy Fuhrman and His Fabulous Friends will stick with the game plan mashing up these genres with band members taking turns singing lead and backup vocals. From the ever lovely voices of Rachel Goodman and Laurie Patton, to the Dylanesque sound of Dan Frechette, this will be a memorable evening.
