Christmas with the Chorale

This year, the Santa Cruz Chorale continues its tradition of festive Christmas concerts, guiding the audience through centuries of music from the 16th to the 21st. Along with selections by Claudio Monteverdi and Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, works by Telemann, Tschaikovsky, Salomone Rossi, Mendelssohn, Tavener, Kverno, Owolabi, Poston and Gjeilo will fill the program. The Monterey Bay Sinfonietta, a wind quartet, and organist Vlada Volkova-Moran will provide accompaniment and solos.
