The Davenport Resource Service Center (DRSC), a program of the Community Action Board of Santa Cruz County (CAB), Inc. will present its 27th Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival on Saturday, May 7th , 2016 from noon to 4pm. The admission-free event will take place at the Davenport Resource Service Center, 150 Church Street in Davenport, Ca.

Special entertainment highlights include Aztec dance performance by the White Hawks Mariachi El Jaliciense, folkloric performance by Los Mejicas. The event will also include Zumba, Belly dancing, Mexican food, art, and activities for all ages.

The event will host a silent auction. Silent auction will include a one week’s stay in Puerto Vallarta, México, spa treatments, charter trips, and 2 night stay at the Costanoan Loge.

The Davenport Cinco de Mayo Festival is a fundraiser to support the Davenport Resource Service Center programs for the area’s culturally diverse and low-income North Coast community. Programs include emergency and regular food distributions, summer and year-round recreation and enrichment programs for children and teens, after school homework tutoring, North Coast Teen Center, translation, information and referral services, health clinics, farm worker, senior, Veteran, and homeless services.
