Americana jam band Edge of the West has been steadily touring the Western US for the last three years. The first record, still enjoying Americana Radio airplay, was released in Spring 2016 with the next one in process for release in Spring 2018. The music hits the spot for folks of various stripes, with it’s eclectic blend of outlaw hippie honky tonk meets deadhead dance party. Featuring eerily familiar members who've also played in the New Riders of the Purple Sage, Todd Snider, David Nelson band, Great American Taxi, Stu Allen's Mars Hotel, and Lacy J Dalton, the band has some serious cred, history, family ties and deep musical roots. And they know how to show ‘em a good time. That’s what they do.

Southern Pacific began with the intention of being a Southern Rock focused band and have since morphed into a more diverse landscape of sound. Covering tunes by Little Feat, Clapton, Paul Simon, Ry Cooder, Johnny Cash, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tom Petty, the Stones, Lucinda Williams, The Allman Brothers, Al Green and more. So, while we are hard to define, our sound is impossible to resist with rocking danceable sounds. We are Fred Rodrigues (of 3 Legged Dawg, & Rose Bud) on lead Guitar & vocals, Skippy Sherred (of Medicine Road and Aardvark) on bass & vocals, Michael Owens (of the China Cats & The Post Street Rhythm Peddlers) on drums, Michael Enos (of Mudfrog) on Keys & vocals and (me) Michele Murphy sings!
