About First Annual Wonafest
A benefit for the family of Mike "Wona" Warner
Coffee Zombie Collective was formed with one thing in mind: bringing music to the people. Our ever-expanding set list sweeps from rock anthems, to old-time standards, and right back through 80's and 90s hits, all with our distinctive honky tonk with a Santa Cruz twist. Our live performances light up local street corners, energize coffee shops, invigorate house parties, and make weddings the boisterous sing-alongs they should be. With our "Bluegrass meets Santa Cruz" lineup of acoustic guitar, banjo, ukulele, mandolin, upright bass, and trumpet crowds quickly form and sing-alongs ensue.
MSTPL (pronounced “Miss Tipple”): Drawing on influences from the 1950’s to the present, MSTPL has fused their classic rock n roll roots with a deep love and sensibility for American blues, jazz and psychedelic forms to create a fresh musical tapestry which weaves groovy beats and catchy melodies delivered in a funky, jazzy, jam band format. Coined, “Groovy Jazz for the Rock Enthusiast” MSTPL is kin to modern jam band pioneers such as MMW, Phish and Gov’t Mule.
