About Getting to know Arana Gulch

$15 Adult | $10 Children | 50% off for Museum Members

Arana Gulch Park is a beautiful green space and rare sanctuary for coastal terrace prairie. On this guided hike learn about recent efforts to restore and conserve this unique habitat from restoration ecologists, and meet the flora and fauna of this rich landscape. This is a family-friendly hike and will include hands-on activities, tools for exploration, and a fun craft to celebrate spring!

Registration is required–the meeting location will be shared in your confirmation email. This is a 1.25 mile long walk along a mostly paved or packed trail. Please wear sturdy shoes. We recommend that you bring layers, sun protection, and water. Hosted by the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History.
