About Panel Discussion on Measure G and Measure H

The public is invited to a panel presentation on Measure G and Measure H

Measure G is a proposed 1/2 cent sales tax measure in the unincorporated area that will
provide county funding for unmet needs. The funds will be earmarked for County parks improvements
including an all inclusive park in Live Oak “Leo’s Haven” . Additional revenue will be used for two year new 24 hour round homeless
shelters and navigation centers. In addition, money will be spent on an evidence based program called Focused Intervention Teams, or FIT , matching law enforcement with treatment and supportive services.

Measure H delivers affordable housing solutions. Measure H will provide $140 million to build affordable rental housing, provide first time homebuyers down payment assistance and make affordable housing with supportive services available for vulnerable residents and those experiencing homelessness and mental illness. It serves all of Santa Cruz County .
