Read & Speak Theater - Acting With Your Voice

Enjoy the fun and fulfillment of performance, without the need to memorize! You’ll learn voice acting skills including narration, dialog, mood (suspense and romance) and participate as a cast member in an ensemble presentation. A public performance of a fully produced Readers’ Theater selection will culminate this class. Don’t miss this fun-filled opportunity!

Rita Wadsworth has participated in Santa Cruz theater as an actress, playwright, teacher, director and producer and as a co-founder of Mountain Community Theater. She has a M. A. in Theatre Arts from San Jose State, and was Theater Arts Specialist at Gateway School and a SPECTRA artist throughout Santa Cruz County. Rita founded and is Head Elf of Elf Empire Productions, her theatrical production company.  Rita’s first love is still acting.  Some favorite roles include MCT’s productions of, Our Town, Comedy of Errors, Arsenic and Old Lace and Noises Off.
