About Refugee Solidarity Music Night at the PCC with Flor De Cana, The Swirly Girls

Live music from Flor de Cana, and The Swirly Girls, with spoken word poetry, and a silent auction of local goods. The goal of this fundraiser is to be in solidarity with and raise money for Border Angels, a non-profit organization in San Diego and Tijuana. It is also a goal to raise awareness of the recent refugee crisis, and promote education on the asylum process. One of the organizers of this event, a licensed acupuncturist in Santa Cruz, is working with Border Angels to set up a pop-up acupuncture clinic in Tijuana in January to serve the minds, bodies and spirits of the caravan participants. From the funds received through this event, caravan members will have access to free holistic healthcare, and much needed supplies, such as tents, blankets, toiletries, medicine, and shoes.
