About Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park Anniversary Lecture, "The Santa Cruz Mission: Saving Our Oldest Building, Then and Now"

In celebration of this 25th anniversary, Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park will hold a three-part lecture series about the history of the Mission.

The series wraps up with “The Santa Cruz Mission: Saving Our Oldest Building, Then and Now” on Thursday, Nov. 17. The event will include a presentation by The Adobe Coalition and City of Santa Cruz Mayor Cynthia Mathews on the topic “A Grass-roots Movement to Save Local History” as well as a talk by local architect Gil Sanchez.

All events will be held at the Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park, 144 School St., Santa Cruz. The reception will be from 6:30-7 p.m., lecture begins at 7 p.m.. Please dress warmly. Collaboration of California State Parks and Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks.
