About this Event
Wylder Space and Tiny House Productions are building community with nourishing food, drinks and thoughtful expression every other Friday. Kick off the weekend with an artist that will rock you to your core. March 8, 2019.

The Ink That Binds Us is being held at Tiny House Productions, 9339 Mill Street, Ben Lomond, Ca, 95005. Artists are encouraged to perform if the spirit moves them, followed by a headlining spoken word performance by Darius Simpson.

He is the author of Conversion Theory (2018), and uses poetry as a tool with which to heal, inform, and challenge his audience in their awareness of social, political, and economic oppression. His work has also been featured online via Huffington Post, Mic, Odyssey, Worldstar Hip Hop, and Button Poetry. In 2018 Darius made history as the first spoken word artist to open the annual Skoll World Forum for Social Entrepreneurship in Oxford, UK. His work has been promoted by Hollywood stars such as Ashton Kutcher and Kerry Washington. By intertwining personal narratives of life experience, humor, and historical events, he brings an authentically vulnerable voice to his poetry.

There are no rules, there are no boundaries.
