Under the Tent of Abraham

You are invited to an interfaith gathering with local Jews, Muslims and Christians, to celebrate our common roots and branches. Join us for an afternoon of prayer, conversation, song and tree planting.

Beginning at 2:00pm in the parish hall at Holy Cross, there will be several short presentations by local faith leaders representing the three Abrahamic Faiths: Fr. Mike Marini, former pastor of Holy Cross, Houcine Ahmed of the Islamic Center Santa Cruz, Rabbi Paula Marcus of Temple Beth El and Rabbi Eli Cohen of Chadeish Yameinu. Small group discussions will follow the presentations.

Children and Families are invited to join us for an olive tree planting at Holy Cross at 4:15pm followed by refreshments in the Parish Hall.
