Brian Bromberg Full Circle Band

Brian Bromberg's Full Circle features Gary Meek on saxophone, Mitch Forman keyboards and Dave Tull on drums. This amazingly versatile quartet is an extension of Bromberg's eclectic, all-inclusive musical vision. Originally a drummer, Bromberg gravitated to the string bass in middle school and dedicated himself to intense daily practice, eventually acquiring the virtuoso ease of a master musician. At nineteen, he was touring with jazz icon Stan Getz and other major jazz figures before becoming a bandleader in the mid-'80s. With over twenty recordings to his name, Brian Bromberg has established himself as one of the premier bassists of his generation. His latest recording, Full Circle, signals a return to his acoustic roots.
