With Grammy nominations and a Hammond endorsement already to his name, organist Brian Charette has also just been named the winner of DownBeat Magazine Critic’s Poll in the “Rising Star: Organ” category. Cutting his teeth with rock and pop stars as Paul Simon and Cyndi Lauper, Charette released his latest album, Good Tipper, in 2014, highlighting his lyrical and buoyant original material alongside funky and fun covers delivered in a classic organ trio format. His live trio features Will Bernard on guitar and Andy Sanesi on drums.
