CBCT® is a 10-week secular ethics training to develop compassion. Self care and self compassion are emphasized. Studies conducted on this program show multiple biomarker and social benefits including higher personal resiliency, increased satisfaction and a greater capacity for empathy and compassion for oneself and others. It’s applicable to anyone in any walk of life. The program was developed at Emory University and used in various medical & educational institutions.
CEU's are available.
One engages in deliberate and progressive contemplative exercises that help the participant gain insight and awareness of how one’s attitudes and behaviors are either supporting or hindering a compassionate response to life’s everyday ups and downs.
Lisa DuPont, M.S. is a psychologist who has been involved in Buddhist studies and contemplative meditation for 20 years. She is also ordained in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition with a background in psychology/neuroscience.
