Chester Thompson Quartet featuring John Santos, Chris Cain & David Flores

Oklahoma-born turned Bay Area organist Chester Thompson started playing at the age of five and has gone on to lead a career that would be the envy of any sideman.
After settling in San Francisco in 1969, Thompson joined Tower of Power in 1973 and was responsible for the many of their biggest hits during that era. His time with Tower of Power was followed by seventeen years of collaboration and songwriting with Santana, culminating with work on 1999’s fifteen-times platinum, Grammy winning album Supernatural. Carlos Santana describes Thompson as an “earthy, energetic and exciting” player, which Thompson now brings to the stage leading this Bay Area super-group featuring blues-soaked guitarist Chris Cain, Afro-Caribbean percussionist John Santos and drummer
David Flores.
