About Cognitively Based Compassion Training

Cognitively-Based Compassion Training (CBCT) is an 8-Week Series that blends Buddhist and Modern psychology with neuroscience and meditation techniques to teach one of the most important life skills: Compassion, for oneself and others!

CBCT is a research, evidenced- based training developed at Emory University by Geshe Negi, PhD, with input from multiple disciplines and is taught in a variety of educational and medical settings.

Anyone can learn these practices!

CBCT first couples self-nurturance practices with focused attentional meditations and then slowly adds progressive cognitive exercises that help onevgain insight into how one's attitudes and behaviors are either supporting or hindering a compassionate response to self and others over life's ups and downs.

Join us to learn this method that helps melt the barriers to connecting deeper to self and others!

Wisdom Center is behind Mobo Sushi SCruz, first floor of the Galleria

Certified CBCT Trainer: Lisa DuPont, MS./Gyalten Chime
School Psychologist/Buddhist monastic with over 20 years experience in Buddhist and Western psychology and meditation practices.
