Contra Dance: Annual Open Band, Open Caller Event

Come to dance, play, or call at our annual open band, open mic contra dance!

Dancers are welcome at any time. New dancers are encouraged to attend the free beginner's lesson at 5:40 p.m.

Musicians and callers must contact us in advance at [email protected], and will get free admission to the dance. The band is open to all musicians who can play the tunes. All band members need to arrive shortly after 5:00 for a talk-through and sound check. Jim Oakden will be anchoring the band.

There is also an open mic for the callers. Erik Hoffman is organizing the callers.
