Democratic Women's Club Endorsement Forum

On Monday evening, December 9, at 6PM at the Santa Cruz Police Community Room (155 Center Street, Santa Cruz), the Democratic Women’s Club of Santa Cruz County (DWC) will hold the first of two endorsement forums on the March 3, 2020 election. Members of the DWC will consider the Club taking a formal position on the proposed recall of two Santa Cruz City Council Members, endorsing candidates in the supervisor races in the First District (Live Oak) and the Second District (Aptos), and endorsing several ballot measures, including a Cabrillo College bond, district elections for Santa Cruz City School Board members, a change to the Santa Cruz City Charter to allow a more flexible bidding process for City construction projects, and city tax measures in Watsonville and Scotts Valley. Only members of the DWC can vote on the endorsements, but the event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 5:30PM and the Program starts at 6PM
