The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk’s FREE Friday Night Bands on the Beach concert series features top 40 bands from the '70s, '80s, and '90s with FREE shows at 6:30pm and 8:30pm on the Boardwalk’s beach bandstand.

Everclear is an American alternative rock band formed in Portland, Oregon in 1991 by Art Alexakis, the lead songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist. The band found success with their first three albums on Capitol Records which were all certified platinum in sales. The albums included charting songs like "Santa Monica" and "Wonderful."

After a brief stint of solo performances in 2003, Alexakis decided to push forward with the Everclear name, finding new musicians to perform with and releasing two more albums, Welcome to the Drama Club and Invisible Stars.
