About Exploring the San Lorenzo River: San Lorenzo Salmonid Habitats

The San Lorenzo River watershed is home to birds and bugs, fish and funghi, you and me! Explore the river ecosystem during the 2nd Annual Exploring the San Lorenzo River Series hosted by the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History and the Coastal Watershed Council. Learn from local naturalists, scientists and artists during this FREE weekly series, held at a different location along the river every Saturday now through April 21.

Saturday, March 31: San Lorenzo Salmonid Habitats
The San Lorenzo River is a hub of life, crucial to the plants and animals that depend on it. Salmon, in particular have specific needs in order to thrive. Learn how the river supports salmon life, and how we can support it as we wander along the water. This tour will be lead by Mathers Rowley and Ben Harris of the Monterey Bay Salmon and Trout Project.

Pre-registration is required. Visit https://coastal-watershed.org/event/exploring-san-lorenzo-river-series-tour-6/ to register for this free event and to find out the exact meeting location.
