Farm to Table - Pajaro Valley Trip

Come enjoy a wonderful day with a guided tour of the local agricultural bounty in Santa Cruz County's Pajaro Valley. We will visit Martinelli's in Watsonville for some local history & apple cider tasting and Gizdich Ranch for a walking tour of the apple orchard with owner, followed by lunch and Gizdich apple pie. We will also make a stop at the Santa Cruz Agricultural History Project where you have free time to visit the museum and check out antique farm equipment. Along the drive through Pajaro Valley, our tour guide will provide information, commentary and history on Santa Cruz County's agriculture, plus share facts and figures on various points of interest. Lunch, drinks, and handouts are all includes in the price of the trip. This trip is provided by Downtown Seniors at Louden Nelson Community Center.
