FashionTeens Santa Cruz

Each year FashionTeens brings teenagers from across Santa Cruz County together for a fabulous, fashion runway evening at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium. After working for months, students with a passion for fashion and creativity; design, source, create, construct and showcase their own unique piece of fashion art. Nearly all creations are made from mostly recycled or repurposed items, giving new value to the discarded. By literally taking fashion into their own hands, students gain confidence, learn valuable life skills, express their creativity, gain design and engineering skills, as well as creative problem-solving.
