Gurdjieff Discussion Group

A series of informal meetings at which we will read from the writings of George Gurdjieff and some of his students. These ideas come primarily from Central Asia, where Gurdjieff traveled and studied in monasteries of various traditions during the closing decades of the 19th Century. The spiritual practice he brought to Europe and America centers on each individual's efforts to find a balance and presence in the midst of one's ordinary life. A down-to-Earth, practical approach to finding this moment, finding myself in this moment – here, now. All are welcome, there is no charge.
